I graduated as a homeopath in 2012 after 4 years of training and practice throughout Devon and Somerset as well as offering Skype and telephone consultations to those who are unable to access my clinic. During a consultation you will receive a thorough assessment. You will e supported, listened to, treated with respect, empathy and without judgement. As a professional practitioner I am bound to adhere to a strict code of conduct and confidentiality. I first discovered homeopathic medicine when my daughter suffered from recurrent infections needing repeated antibiotic prescriptions. I was at the end of my tether so started to explore other options and was impressed by the improvement in her health following homeopathy. I have always been attracted to wildlife and nature and therefore interested in a natural, environmentally friendly approach to healing without the side effects of conventional medicine so was delighted when the opportunity arose to commence the 4 years of training to become a professional homeopath. I have undertaken training in Bach Flower Essences which I often use to complement the homeopathic treatment and I volunteer at the Flower Essence Resource Centre in Chard. In addition to CEASE therapy training I have attended training seminars on autism, and am keen to support parents as well as children on the autistic spectrum. Because I am particularly interested in supporting people where emotional issues, stress and trauma have impacted upon physical health I undertook a placement at the Step by Step Homeopathic Clinic in Bristol in 2011 where I gained experience in working with people with a diversity of mental health conditions. Friends and colleagues describe me as being calm, well-grounded, open minded, genuine and sincere. I am a proud mother and grandmother. I am proud to be a member of the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom). I am on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. The Society of Homeopaths is the largest professional governing body for homeopaths within the UK with a strict criteria of membership. Members are all trained to high standard and are bound to adhere to a strict code of ethics and practice.
